When I capture from my TV I have 2 sets of stange lines. I have tried different cables and scart plugs with the same results every time. Can I correct this with a filter in VirtualDub?
I'm using a Pinnacle PCTV Pro card on a very fast computer.

"I know that I'll do it," Zanardi told his interviewer. "I'm happy to be alive. Now my main goal is to walk again, and be able to carry my son Niccolo on my shoulder."

Might be RF interferance from the PC, or a similar phenomenon. Have you tried a video stabilizer?

I haven't tried one yet but it could solve this problem.
I know there are hardware stabilizers but do you know if there are any software stabilizers too?

Have you tried a different source (e.g., VCR outside the TV loop)?

Do the lines roll up the screen?

I have taken the signal directly from my Digitaltv decoder.

The lines are steady on the screen.

OK, but have you tried a different source?

I have tried, DVD, video, digital tv and normal tv signal. All with the same results.

Sorry for the very late reply but I had to study for some exams at school.
I have tested every possible setup between my TV signal and computer and I think it the problem is just the too long videiocable between my TV-set and computer.

Cool. Is that from the RF input? It looks like RF interference.

Like a cable input from your cable or a single connection from your TV. As opposed to a composite connection which has separate connections for video, left audio, and right audio.

    I'm using a composite connection.

  17. I assume that that this interference is not visable on the TV, right?
That does not mean that it is not there.
This looks like rf interference comming in on the cable line.
Is this a single drop or are you on a system with many drops.
    What other equip is connected?
You may try a High Pass filter or active splitter/amp.
