Why would you need two burners? In my system, I have the DVD-ROM as Master on the Secondary IDE channel and my DVD +/- RW as the Slave. There are varying schools of thought on this, but this configuration has always worked for me....

Boot primary master, DVD ROM primary slave, DVD burner secondary master, CD burner secondary slave. I use a secondary PCI IDE controller card for my DVD ROM. That keeps slower devices off the primary channel. If you want to go this route, just make sure the controller will work on slower devices such as DVD, CD drives. I use a Promise TX2 PCI controller card (About $40US)
