Hi,
This pc uses WinXP.
The scanning software said it found to viruses and is not able to get rid of them. I also tried the text to fix it, however, that did not work either. I have no clue how the viruses got there. This pc was scanned for viruses and it found 2 on both .exe .dll explorers in the system32 folder.
How is the problem fixed without reformatting? Please and thank you.
Do I replace the explorers with one from the cd, maybe and if so how? Please and thank you. I did that once with win98 with the kernal32 file in dos mode, which worked great, however, I am not sure if it will work with explorer or win XP and I forgot and lost the rules to fix it in dos.
Is there a easier way for it to be fixed and if so how? Please and thank you.

You said Explorer is detected? Read these also. This trojan does that.
