    Hi there,

    I got my self a NEC ND-2500 writer and some 8x DVD media. But some how the writer will not allow me to burn at 8x. When i try to use nero max burining speed is 4x, same with dvd shrink etc.

    Does anyone know why?

    1. What media are you using?

    2. What Version of Nero do you have

    3. What firmware is your drive at 1.05 or 1.06 ?

    Your version of Nero is HORRIBLY out of date (and buggy, too).

    Update to 6.3.0.3 posthaste.

    Needs a firmware update to write at 8x on these disk (Ritek R03 dye).

    Hopefully, we won't be kept waiting too long.

    Burn fine at 4x though
