    I followed the guide on making SVCDs from the ffmpegX website and I end up with four files produced per disc.

    1)movie.mpg_01.img
    2)movie.mpg_02.img
    3)movie.mpg_02_pregap.img
    4)movie-1.mpg.toc

    I tried using toast to burn them _01.img and _02.img files and made two cds that are unreadable using my dvd player and vcd. Which of these files are required and in what order??

    Also what codecs do i need to get quicktime to play SVCD mpegs?? Right now i can only view these files with vlc or mplayer.

    Thanks for the help

    Toast 6 --> Copy --> Multi-Track CD-ROM XA

    drop the two image files in the window that pops up after clicking "Select...", burn at slower speeds. If your DVD-Player is able to play SVCDs than this should work. VLC also recognizes SVCDs. QuickTime can only play the mpeg files and not SVCDs. For mpeg2 playback you need the Mpeg2 QuickTime Component.

    Is this a problem with Toast, VLC or ffmpegX??
