Very true...but that's why the porn industry in the United States is the biggest in the world...you always have some conservatives crying and whinning, pissin and moanin about things like that. It is our wonderful double standard...the "do as I say, not as I do" rule. I can almost gaurantee 95% of the people who were offended by it also sit by and let their kids listen to music with sex filled and drug filled lyrics but never say a word. I personally was not offended, I didn't see it as a good idea...but hey, her brother is in big trouble, her other sister was in playboy...maybe it was her last shot....besides, I think it was the best halftime show ever.

It's kind of like the drug trade over here. We spend billions fighting the drug war...and on 60 minutes or something like it, they were interviewing some people from south america...and they said "how are you ever going to win the war on drugs when you are the largest consumer of it?"

In the United States, if you want to make something easier to get...just make it illegal and you can find it on just about every street.

Also, not defending Janet, nor am I degrading her...but I think with all the shit she is catching over this, I think she has the right to sue the media, the NFL, etc, etc. For infringing on her Right to free speech. Now if CBS or the NFL doesn't want to air things like that then they should be on a time delay where they could censor it...but they have no right to stop her from doing it. I think the NFL and the rest would have a case if she had been arrested or cited for indescent exposure...but she wasn't...therefore, not illegal.

Here's the deal, in the US you watch TV and you hear words like hell, damn, ass, and bitch....but you won't hear words like shit or son of a bitch. Now why can they say bitch but can't say SOB? It's stupid, why...to protect their kids? I am a teacher and let me tell you anything those kids hear on TV pales to everything they themselves talk about and say in the halls at school everyday. I call it wussification of America. Yes on our television sets you can see a guy buy crack, you can see him load the pipe and you can watch him smoke it and there is no problem...but if his girlfriend gets out of the shower and you see a nipple......all hell is going to break loose.

We are a country born out of rebellion, fought a very violent and bloody war to gain our independence and we are now trying non-aggressive means of problem solving and we can't offend the sensitive people because it upsets their feeling of self worth...I'm sure England would have just given us the land had we just communicated our feelings properly and tried to seek a peaceful give and take resolution to our situation.

It's a very hypocritical society. Don't get me wrong, I love this country and I will not leave her for another but with some of these people around here...you just have to laugh at some of the things they complain about. Hell, they are just lucky to live in the USA....if they had been born to a mother in some little village in the Amazon Rain Forest their kids would see boobies everyday, even their boobies and not on TV....they don't have electricity, money, cars, etc....but we here in the US are "civilized" now.....it's a joke....
