    I got this avi movie. I've taken a 5 second chunk out of it using Easy Video Splitter.

    When I play this 5 second clip in Media Player, it says that its 12 seconds long. The video plays (for 5 seconds), and then freezes on the last frame for 7 seconds, and then stops.

    Also, when I convert this to MPEG, I can't burn it on CD no matter how many times I try.

    Any help appreciated.

    I think it may be too short to do anything with it. You may want to try with a longer version of it, maybe five minutes or so.
