    Hello all,

I've got an AVI video clip previously downloaded from the internet that appears to have no audio. I've tried playing the video clip in various players (WMP, MPC, KMPlayer) and had no luck with the audio. The K-Lite Codec Package(full) is installed on my comp so I'm not sure if it's a codec issue or not. I read in the following thread something about the AC3 filter:

I'm not sure but doesn't the K-Lite Codec Package already have the AC3 filter?

    Any advice/suggestions are appreciated.

Open the file with an app such as Gspot. It will show the file specs.

I opened the file with the GSpot app and under the Audio specs:

    Codec: 0x0055 MPEG-1 Layer 3
    Info: 48000Hz 112 kb/s tot , Joint Stereo
    Status: Codec(s) Installed

It seems like the necessary codecs to play the file are installed.

Is there a way to tweak the file with something from the K-Lite Codec Package?
