Not sure if Im posting in the right place...forums so big its a bit confusing. But here goes.
I have 2 computers both with NEC ND-1300A burners in them...they have both worked perfect in the past..but since the last format, they are both not working. I use DVD shrink to author and either NERO 6.3.0.2. or RECORDNOW DX 4.60 to burn. Both give issues.
Recordnow actually gives me a error
Command:2A SENSE:05 ASC:30 ASCQ:05
and NERO gives "illegal disk" "couldnt perform start Disk-at-once"
I have tried 3 different brand of media (all which worked fine before) princo, leaddata, beall. It just baffles me that both of them are doing the same thing, I must be missing something. I have read several posts about disabling the UDMA, and putting the drive on its own IDE cable as master, but none of this has worked. IM stuck.
