  1. Hello, all:

Recently installed/ran SVCD2DVD. Output looks very nice, but noticed that it's shifted all the way over to the left side of the screen.

The aspect is fine, though. Tried using DVDPatcher with same results, regardless of aspect ratio chosen.

Is there any way to have the output centered on the screen?

  2. Some people have no trouble what so ever but others have. So it depends on your dvd-player if the image is shifted to the left or normail.

There isn't a setting in SVCD2DVD to set it right.

  3. Thanks, but I actually meant that it appears shifted on the PC screen when I play it - regardless of what aspect ratio I choose, regardless of what mpg player I use, and regardless of patcher - SVCD2DVD or DVDPatcher.

I haven't actually tried to burn it to a DVD. It seemed pretty obvious that how it shifted on the monitor was how it would burn/show up on the DVD when played.

I would think that to put in a little routine that checks and centers the output - or allows you to make adjustments (similar to TMPGEnc) would be relatively easy to incorporate.

So is this the authored DVD or just the mpgs which have been patched?
