    I tried to flash this drive from v1.38.to v1.64 with the program from
    aopen's website did everthing it said I must it failed to update end of the
    update it said check source file NG NG NG someone else had the same problem a while back but nobody answered his thread does anybody know now thanks

    I just did an upgrade of the firmware. Had no problems at all. Maybe you should try to flash with the 1.38 and see what happenes. If that is OK your writer will at least do something again.
