  1. If some of you have seen me on these boards in the last few months, those of you that attempted to help me might remember that I had a Plextor PX-708A with a Sony dvd/vcr combo stand alone. Long story short, I finally came to the conclusion, after trying multiple forms of media, that the Sony has to GO.....
My logical question being: What DVD standalone player would you guys on this site recommend, as far as being the most compatible with various forms of media? I've heard others on this board talk about players that "play anything that is thrown in them"; this is what I'm searching for. Any help greatly appreciated...
    Cheers

It appears that the CPU was operating so fast that it began to execute instructions before they arrived. This execution of future instructions created a small tear in space-time itself through which part of the cpu passed into a parallel universe

  6. I was also doing this search and went through several returns before I found one of them play all machines. If you have a costco nearby, pick up a Daewoo player they have for $49.99. So far it has played all of the CD-R/RW DVD+-R/RW I have, plus it can be set to region free.

I was also looking at the JVCs, as my friend has good luck with them. But I needed the region free feature.

    Good luck.
