I download and installed the newest version of SVCD2DVD this morning, added my asset (single), and clicked Quick Create.

SVCD2DVD started processing and the Progress Bar was visible. I then minimized the program (to the system tray) and went to a meeting. After the meeting I restored the SVCD2DVD application, but the Progress Bar was not visible. I could tell that the conversion was not complete by the hard drive activity.

Searching the forum, I found ChrissyBoy's message about deleting any dnb_xxxx.xml files in the SVCD2DVD's directory, but won't have a chance to test that one unless my next launch of SVCD2DVD won't bring up the progress bar.

In any case, would it be possible to have the percentage complete appear in the 'tool tip' displayed when the program is minimized (and the cursor hovers above the icon), or displayed in the program button in the taskbar?

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you should have any questions.

    Thank you for your cooperation/consideration.

Yes I discovered this myself. I have it fixed and will be in the next build. % is in the tool tip but there is a size limit for the tips....

    ChrissyBoy,

    Thanks for the fast come-back!

In this particular case, the tool tip probably will be too long ... the file name is (55) characters long (which does show in the tool tip!) ... what is the limit, by the way?

When you say the fix will be in the next build, do you mean that the progress bar will not go missing from the application and that the percentage will be visible in the tool tip? You da man!

    Thanks!

Well the limit is 64 chars (as i remember). So you at the moment you get:

    "proceesing " + your filename + " xx %"...

and all that needs to be under 64 chars otherwise it gets truncated.

What i meant was that the progress bar issue will be resolved.
