    I just want to compress the dvd into a small and nice dvd!
    what's the best guide to it?

    try ripping with smartripper or dvddecrypter and then converting with Auto Gordian Knot. you can choose the output size of the .avi

    when you get the right formula of codecs installed on your computer it is great.
