No problems here as well. I do use a premade Nero profile that someone has set up, so all I have to do is just drag the files that DVD Shrink spits out, and put them into the VIDEO_TS folder. You can find that profile here depending on whether you use Nero 5.5/6 or 6.0.0.19-up.

  4. No problems here, although lately I've been using DVD Decrypter and Nero Decoder 2 with good results....

  5. No problems here. The newest version uses Nero to burn for you. You don't open Nero at all, just run DVD shrink, change the disk when prompted and in a while you have your back up copy.

  6. No one here uses Shrink and Nero together man.....J/K ....I"m sure alot of people do that including myself. There shouldn't be any problem or maybe you didn't read through the guide assuming you're a newbie. Take some time and read thru to make sure you understand what the heck you are doing. Also, would be helpful to us if you tell us the problem you are having instead of asking people what their problem was because there sholdn't be any problem using between the 2.

  7. Well...I've used Nero with shrink and the only problems I have had were edge of disc errors....skipping, freezing , etc. I don't think it is a problem with DVDshrink...I do however think that the problem lies with both my burner and nero in conjunction together. I started using AutoshrinkIso with DVDshrink and DVD decryptor and have not made one coaster yet. If you haven't tried this method I would suggest you give it a shot...its easy and painless. Autoshrink automates the process by running DVDshrink and creating an ISO image for decryptor to burn. Put the original disc in your DVD-ROM drive and a blank in your DVD-R drive and after you've made your selections in dvdshrink let it run, comeback later and you should have a perfect backup.

It really is the best method I've used so far...and trust me, Ive used them all. And hey its all free.

I use Shrink 3.1.2 with Nero 5.5.10.28. Zero problems. Sometimes I use DeCrypter but lately I've just been letting Shrink do the ripping. Makes it a one step backup. Zero problems.

I use this method,,just started with this last week, and it works well for me also..Only differance I dont have a DVD rom drive,,,so I just check the box to copy to file, and let it run its course,,then later I have to remove my movie disc and put in the blank DVD to burn.
