  1. Hello,

I used Decryptor to backup a DVD movie but the files created on the harddisk after it had finished was over 8 GB, hence too big to fit on one DVD-R.

My question is how do you backup a DVD movie using Decrptor so that you can burn it on a single DVD-R (4.7GB).

Would I have to use another software to do this...??? I was hoping I could use only one software to do everything.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, negative or positives.

    Thanks in advances.

  2. If you're using Nero 6, Nero Recode 2 will automatically compress the files. Or you can use DVD Shrink. Take a look at the "Guides" section (along the left) for numerous hints. You can also go to Doom9.org for more how-to guides....

Ditto, DVDShrink is a great programme.
You won't need it, it's very simple to use but just in case there's a guide here by mrbass, who I think is a member of this site
    There's plenty more guides here.
