  1. Hi,

    I have a movie (The Recruit) that I have demuxed using DVDdecrypter.
    I also tried using Vobedit, but when I load the file in Maestro I get an error: Temporal References in GOP #...(Zero-based) are out of sequence . I have to demux the file because I want to add my dutch subtitles to it.
    So I did it using dvddecrypter. But when I load the .m2v file in Maestro, the movie is more than an hour too short. I only can see the first 52 minutes. And when I load the chapters I only get 7 instead of 17. When I open the created .vob I see that the movie is too short. I've searched on doom9 and at this forum but I haven't seen the same problem as mine. So I hope someonecan help me out here.

    Gr. Alex.

  2. this is a known problem and so far no definite fix has surfaced for it. However i did find one way around it. If you get/use the app "womble mpeg vcr"(make sure you get the version that can load mpeg 2 files) you can load in your m2v file and have womble rebuild the m2v file (it works fast), then take this new m2v and load in Maestro with no problems.

    method 2. Not sure if this will work but the app is free and is also on this site in the tools section ( their was a recent post with it and it was never porperly linked which is why it never showed up on searches till the other day)
    it is called mpeg sequencer maker. This may also help fix the out of sequence gops, although i have not tried it myself

  4. @mazzins: I will try it. But do you mean the m2v file created with Vobedit or the other one?

    @SLK001: I don't know. How can I see that?

  6. Ok now I have it to work, but when I do "fix gop" I get an .m2v file of 17 mb. The original is 1 gb. So what do I have to do?

  7. again i have not tried sequence fixer (till a few minutes ago) and it appears it is only made for m1v (mpeg 1) files only. So your best bet is to try out womble mpeg2vcr (also in the tools section). This has fixed that error when it has appeared for me
