hi i wanted to ask you guys if anybody had the same problem
after i record on dvd+rw i make it compatible and i tried to see it on my pc but just before it starts my computer freezes totally i cannot do anything i was triyng to rip the dvd so i can transfer to dvd-r
i have a pen 4 1600 windows 98 powerdvd 5 nero 6 install and pionner dv 105 writer and a sony dvd drive i tried on both and the same thing happens, also when i try to use any dvd-r
the player says no disc and it gets stuck i cannot open the tray. please help.

Sounds like your computer dvd's are not +RW compatable. Just because you make a +RW compatable, does not mean it will work in all players.

As far as not reading a dvd-r, I would recommend you reinstalling your dvd software/drivers and see if that helped.

well i made i few back ups on dvd+rw of my movies and they work everywhere only the ones i record on my cyberhome 1500 are the ones giving me problems
