    Well,

    everything has a finish line and only unsuccesful s/w never get done

    I am sure DVDShrink will not stop being used, except, when dual layer DVDRs become widely available.
    The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.

    There had been no updates since the last beta version back in September (I think) and then development was announced to be stopped.

    And now we are flooded with new interrim releases and updates.

    Never say die...
