Anyone hear any concrete facts about xbox2 or PS3 yet??

I have just caught bits and pieces on the web but most of it seems to be just speculation. I also heard Nintendo is already hinting on a release of it's next console that really isn't a console? What's up with that? It's supposed to be totally unique from any gaming system anyone has ever seen. This is concrete since I got the info. from TV.

The "mystery console" will be announced @ E3 this year...as for xbox2 and ps3, havent heard anything new. A while ago EGM featured a doctored photo(that someone sent in) of ps2 to make it look about the size of gamecube and it had 3 trays coming out from 3 sides...crappiest thing I've ever seen.

Thanks man. Just been really busy with everything. I found my way into a forum where Jeex really bashed you for no reason at all. He's a real ******* sometimes. :P

Anyway, just looking forward to the upcoming release of Halo 2 for Xbox...until then, I have other games I got recently to keep me busy.(Prince of Persia: Awesome, Metal Arms: A good shooter to keep me busy until Halo 2)

Same here...do you know when they plan to release it? Last time I heard they pushed it back. Besides halo, i'm waiting for splinter cell 2. I've been keeping myself busy w/ XIII(very short but fun) and kill.switch. I've heard that prince of persia was good...I'll have to give it a rent(can it be beaten w/ a rent?) when I get the time.

EB games says April 1 is when Halo 2 is supposed to ship. I just pre-ordered it online since they aren't charging any sales tax or shipping on it right now. Only cost me 49.99 which is what I would pay anyway when it comes out...if it's not sold out everywhere. Prince of Persia is good, one of my all-time favorite games however it can probably be beaten with a rent if you stick with it non-stop for a day:wink

I hear the new Playstation will have a DVD burner as well as a 250Gb HD so that you can use it as a set-top DVD recorder and HD too!

Yeah, 5ghz CPU. That's what I'm talkin about. I think it's pretty safe to say that both systems will be awesome when they finally do come out. I prolly won't get rid of my xbox though since it has proven to be one of my favorite systems of all-time. I still kick myself for having sold my old N64....
