Can't hear audio on PS3 from AVI (specs included)

I have an AVI file that I can play just fine on my Mac with VLC, but when I burn it to DVD (and Toast converts it from PAL to NTSC), it doesn't play the sound on my PS3, only the video. I don't know if it's the audio encoding to begin with or if it has anything to do with the PAL-NTSC conversion. Here are the specs of the file from VideoSpec:
