  1. I have burned TONS of DVD-Rs that play find on our Pioneer DV-C503 5 disc DVD player. I have a movie on 2 SVCDs. It's not the finest quality, so after converting them w/ SVCD2DVD, the DVD files only come out to like 1.73GB. The SVCDs are PAL 25fps, 2 ch @ 44100khz. When converting I have selected to re-encode the audio to DD 2 ch @ 48000khz. Also I selected the "apply Pan & Scan info" , which specifically mentiones that it enables "Pioneer" DVD players to "render DVD-SVCDs properly". I have also tried taking the DVD output files from SVCD2DVD into DVDShrink 3.1, and backing them up region free. No dice. Every time I've burned this to a DVD-R and put the disc into the DVD player, the picture "bounces" as though a vertical hold setting needs to be adjusted and the disc "sticks" (i.e. does not advance) on the first frame. I'm at a real loss here, about to hit walls and pull my hair out. By all means, drop some knowledge on me please.

  2. Forgot to mention though that these files that won't play once burned, play fine on the PC through PowerDVD or DVDShrink.
