  1. I have never seen these advertised as such. Are they marketed under a different brand? Any big stores have them...or is it mail-order only?
    Thanks Friends

You can get them from a few different online vendors, Supermediastore, meritline rima and newegg. I have also gotten TDK 2x media from Best buy and Micro center that are the Ritek 4X media even though the box says 2X.

Yep...your best bet is online with a REPUTABLE dealer. You most likely will not find Ritek or Ridata in any RETAIL stores. But DO buy them...to me they are the best.

  4. I buy EVERYTHING computer related from Newegg.com. The prices are great, and the service and speed of shipping is UNBEATABLE!

Just hit NewEgg. Thanks for reminding me. I saw the Ritek's there last week in a 50 bundle, but was too strapped to buy. I'm heading over there now.

  7. I went to newegg.com to get a bundle of riteks for my Plextor px-708A burner and my sony slv-d300p set-top and I just wanted to ask you fine folks what the difference is between the Ritek DVD-R 4.7G 4X Single Sided Write Once Media 50pk, Model DRD-47-4X-RD-IW, OEM
    and the Ritek DVD-R 4.7G 4X 50PACK, Model DRD-47-4X-RDSM, OEM?
The first is 5 dollars more expensive, but the second is not currently in stock...What should I do?
    Cheers,
