Ok here is the problem. I have a pretty big AVI file I needed to encode, about 1 hour and 30 min. long, 700MB. So I convert it to MPEG2, wait 3 hours, and the file is completed apparently with no problems. This seems good but when I try to play it in Power DVD and skip ahead past about 51 min, it wont do it. It just wont go past that point. But I can encode 2 45min files and each one plays perfectly. But If I try to merge them together, the problem arises again and I cant skip too far ahead. The thing is, this problem happens with every long movie I try to encode; therefore, I cant burn a long movie on DVD and have it work. The files have no bad frames or errors (I scanned them with multiple programs). Could anyone tell me what my problem is?
A few System Specs (If needed)
Dell Dimension 2200 Pentium 4
Windows XP
256 RAM
Thanks for any help
