is there a way to reauthor a dvd that has two versions of a movie (4:3 and 16:9) on it?

i want to remove the 4:3 full screen version, but leave the menu system intact?

thanks for the links. theres heaps of information for me to look through.

this is what i am trying to do.

i want to make a backup of the dvd "cruel intentions"

it has a small ammount of extra features on it as well as two complete movies (one 4:3 and one 16:9)

i would like to make a backup that contains everything (including extra features and menu system) but without the 4:3 aspect ratio version.

i dont care if the menu selection still appears. but i havent been able to do this yet. i can make a movie only backup, but id like to keep the extras if possible.

You can always 'Re-Auhtor' in DVD Shrink and add the movie you want and dump the extras after it. It wont have a menu and you would have to skip through the movie to get to them, but that is one way. Your best best if you want to do it exactly as you described, look at 2Cool's Guides that I left. They have the best help fro what you are trying to do. Also, to do this isnt a walk in the park because you will have to probably use IFOedit.

That is essentially what you want to do, "bypass or disable Unwanted Titles" and keep everything else intack.
