I keep trying to burn a couple of movie clips using nero and Maxell DVD+R-4.7gb 120minute video. I only show that I'm using 3.9gb. I've already converted the files with tmpenc to mpg's and Nero went through and transcoded all the clips before telling me there wasn't enough room on the dvd+r. The dvd is new and right out of the package. Does anyone have any recommendations? If this isn't the correct place to post this please let me know and I'll move it. Thanks.

I would take my TMPGEnc-encoded MPEG DVD file, demux it into an m2v and an mpa file. Load them into IfoEdit to get my authored BUPs, IFOs, etc. DVD files. Then I would let Nero burn them. Click here, and go to Step 2. Authoring.
    Hello.

do I have to do that for all my mpg files as well? Will they still play on my stand alone dvd player? I don't understand why Nero won't burn them though? Will the quality of the picture and sound be retained?

  4. Hi!
I have a dvd playing problem. Wanted to convert divx to dvd. I making the mpeg-2 file with TMPGEnc, the vob and ifo files with TMPGEnc DVD Author, the image file with Nero 5.5.
When I play this dvd with my MBO 921 player, I can't jump to a specified time in the film (can't time seek).
Anybody knows, what is the solution?
    Thanx: Tony
