I just got TMPGEnc, the freeware version, and I was wonder if anyone could tell me using the wizard how I convert an .asf movie to a vcd. I'd like to burn it using Nero. TIA

When starting the wizard ... if that is what is first starting up ...
click on "files of type".
Scroll down ... for other choices ...
AVI and ASF ... are paired up ... as a choice.
Or use InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2 ... to convert ASF or WMV videos to VCDs. -
I did what you said. I had to manually change the filename output extension to .mpg. I couldn't find any option that let me change to vcd. Will changing from .asf to .mpg allow me to burn it or do I need to change it to a vcd? I tried burning it just like it was with Nero. Nero showed that I had enough space to put it on a dvd+r but after transcoding it said that there wasn't enough space. I had a total of about 3 hours worth of stuff I was going to burn. Anyone know why Nero showed that I had more space than I actually did?
