I want to convert some of my DVD's to Xvid becuase I will be going on vacation and don't want to have to bring the actual discs with me since they are going to just take up space.
Currently I am ripping them to an ISO image with DVDecrypter, mounting the image with nero and then compresing them with DVDx.
My settings are
Res 352x288 with BiCubic (SSE/3DNOW+) resizing
With file size of 870MB
I seem to be getting a FPS rate of about 45.
If I up the res to 608x464 I rate drops to about 25.
Is this normal or am I doing something wrong.
