My wife has 900+ movies ( conceder this a lot) she has purchased. I have tried copying some of these and have run into a problem. The disc play's back OK in the DVR 1500 and the RCA I use to send a video signal to the recorder. Her Toshiba player will either not load or will say disc error. One disc recorded on a RCA800N play's just fine in her recorder. I am using Ritek DVD+R 2.4X silver top.
What could be causing this. Her DVD player, type disc I am using, is it they way Cyberhome formats or finalize's the disc? Any idea's would be most helpfully.

Was the one disc that played ok a -R or +R. Some players are picky and you have to take the disc out and stick it back in a few times.

I believe it might be standard issue that is common for DVD Recorders. The way arround it is to re-author DVD on PC.
