on that bar along the top of the progam it says how big the file will be an how much the disc can hold. the discs say they hold 4700mb but the bar always says 4456mb.....why is that?

4.7 billion bits is equal to about 4.37 Gigabytes
Some claim its a marketing tool, others say its just the conversion...who knows for sure... but DVD-Shrink is correct, you can only get about 4500MB of video data per 4.7GB disc.
DVDShrink is good and wise.... AHHHSOOO
