  1. Hi!

    I just upgrade from Premiere 6.5 to Pro and I am having problems on trying to export just the work area of my sequence. Can anyobody give me some tips?

    Presumably you are selecting work area when you export? I did recently did the same upgrade (well trial upgrade for the moment) and found that work area was defaulting to the same as the whole sequence. Just double clicking on the unit ruler on the timeline will bring the work area down to the view of the timeline and you can grag the sliders in or out from either side.

    Then as per 6.5 just select work area for your export rather than sequence (6.5 option was either whole project or work area).

    Slight change of topic but how are you finding the audio output since the upgrade? I found the audio (for camcorder stuff), when using either MPEG audio or AC3, that it was distorting and I had to turn the whole audio down a couple of DBs. I never had this problem with 6.5, in fact with 6.5 I could increase the DBs a little when required with no distortion.

  3. When you export your video and the screen comes up to save as, drop your box that says timeline to working area. That should do it.
