Does Plural Eyes really work and do a good job?

Due to how things are and my limited options I have to manual sync the audio delivered via cd which I get from the houses master mix with my A1s footage. On average that means 10-15 segments/ major clips on most weeks which is tedious and time absorbing.

Does this reliably work on CS 5.5 or CS3.2?

On the surface it sounds great, however I've read online that there may be serious compatibility issues with CS 5.5 and that it doesn't work as well or smoothly with Premiere Pro when compare to other NLE's.

Please, what has been your experience and thoughts in regards to this aid?

I don't want to waste money if this plug-in only is partially effective.

    Thanks so much.

Here's a link to the software maker's site about using it with Premiere:

Honestly, you might not find too many people here who use it. There already are a lot of techniques for synchronizing multiple sources, and most timeline editors have tools to manually flag particular points along the video and audio tracks (like a common visual movement or quick popping sound), so that you can align everything in sync. Yes, it does take a bit of effort to eyeball frames and listen closely to certain sounds, but it is not an unreasonable task. (In the old days of linear, analog editing, getting multiple sources in sync was vastly more difficult. Be thankful you have today's tools.)

If you want to fork over your money for Plural Eyes, please report back on your findings.

I do the whole syncing process by sound and sight only and it's time consuming.

Look to save some time and cut down on repetitive tasks as my workflow is made by circumstances and lack of resources, long and tedious.
