I know a guy who is wanting to set up a server where about 5 other computers (off location) can access it whenever it wants. They mainly want to use it for Quick Books for their business. My question is....should they use PCAnywhere? Is this the best program for this type of project. Is there something out there that is better? Is it hard to set up?
Thanks for anyone that can answer my questions.

i sure wouldn't have the companies accounting system online with remote control software on it ...
http://www.tightvnc.com/ is better control/features than pc anywhere but not as secure i suppose (unless SSH/OpenSSH is used, then its better) ....
its also free ...."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

Well what they want to do is be able to access the server computer from any of their computers at home or other work sites whenever needed. They want to be able to do it even when someone isnt there. So I guess I thought PcAnywhere would be a good solution, but alot of you say it isn't very safe.
I am not familiar with VPN. What is this all about? Is it secure? Thanks for anything you can give me.
