  1. I have installed powerDVD on my computer, but when i start windows media player whit a mpeg2 file start the mediaplayer internet for a new codec. A few day ago played the mediaplyer fine. Is here a solution for this problem?

  2. I have exactly the same problem since a few days. It started when I downloaded and installed Real Player 8 Basic. After that the Windows Media Player didn't play MPEG-2 files. Instead it searches for a new codec and finally says "Invalid media type" (this is hopefully the correct translation into English). Up to now I had WinDVD for the MPEG-2 codec, now I also tried PowerDVD. Without success.

    Any idea how to fix this problem?
