I downloaded and copied the QT reader file into the TmpgEnc directory.
The resultant .MPG file had no audio. I also searched the guides and found one on converting MOV to MPEG2 - it talked about a Dumpster program. I found and tried that, but the guide talked about changing entries that read 'unknown data' My file didn't show any of that. At anyrate, it didn't help. The MOV file is only a 2 minute file taken from a digital camera.

Any help on being able to get a MPG with video & audio is greatly appreciated.

On another note, is a 'Photo CD' the same as a VCD? I want to use Nero to burn my JPG's & converted MPG (from the MOV files) from the camera onto a disc to play on my DVD player.

    thanks.

I tried Rad Video tools and was able to create an audio file that I could use as input to TmpgEng, but the audio was much worse sounding than the original.

Has anyone been able to convert MOV to MPG with sound using TmpgEnc?
Am I missing a codec or something?
