  1. Hi.
I have a Notebook Airis Xyra with a 650 SIS board, which has integrated graphics. The problem is that when I plug my notebook to the tv (S-Video)I can see the desktop and play games on the TV, but when I try to watch a movie the screen inside Windows Media Player goes black. In spite of this I can see the movie on my notebook.
I´ve already installed directx 9, the latest video drivers, DivX and Xvid codec. I´ve already tried all the steps included in Windows help about video problems, and some of the tips posted previously on the forum about the same problem, but still nothing. I´ve allready tried to switch the shared memory from 8 to 64MB on the bios setup and still nothing. I´ve noticed that when I drecrease the graphics acceleration to minimum I can see the image of the movie but with a really bad resolution that prevents me from understanding what´s playing.
Thanks for your help (soory about any english mistakes)

  2. mate, you might want to search through your display adapter settings and look for the overlay settings. Play around with those setting and hopefully it should work.

    cheers,
