I Can't, I Have Them Blocked

Very, very, very rarely. I only allow them on sites that I really value, and even then they're almost never for anything I'm actually interested in. If possible, I'll block the ads and just make a cash contribution to the page. Banner ads are more useful, since they're many times more likely to be something related to the site that I'm visiting, but even then I only click them maybe once in 100 views.

Most of the time blocking is on but on rare occasions I open up and just (alt F4) them just to see what's up on a site.
I don't mind banner and imbedded ads.
Worst thing is the multiple popups which only defeat the purpose. Why would advertisers pay any site for artificially inflating their counts when no one could possibly read 20+ popups stepping all over each other within a few seconds. -
I never see any since I have adsubtract installed plus I have most sites blocked for cookies, refers, animations, ads and any java scripts. www.adsubtract.com

I block them with PopNot. Got tired of my browser getting inundated with crap I didn't want to see. Now, if only blocking spam was as easy......

issues with some sites that use frontpage/back office extensions? -
Yes but only because such pages often dont follow standards. I hate microsoft sometimes. Frontpage is evil. But its alot less common. I have had little or no issues with the 7+ version. Hmm this is all out of order but I think you can figure out what im saying. Also some of the issues I have might be because I use the none Java version because I dont like java and don feel its worth the extra 10MB of download. Java gives a bad name to coffee.

Alas I have several sites I go to that have to use popups (work related). So I turn the popup blocker on and off.
I make it a point to Never Ever Ever Patronize sites that use popups. This makes life difficult at times, but lets face facts: Popup ads don't work anymore. To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
Blocked using PopThis!
Much better than the other pop up killing programs that I have used because it is so small (only one DLL file) and intergrates in with Internet Explorer under the Tools menu -
