  1. I want to connect a dvd player to an old ferguson VCR. The dvd has video-out(yellow plug) s-video out and a scart output .. the video has an aerial socket and what looks like an analogue camcorder socket .. the manual states its input for another video source, however its not coloured and it's not compatible with the yellow videosocket . How can I connect my dvd to my Vcr.. I have searched the net and not seen any leads that look correct..The easiest way would appear to be scart to aerial(RF) adapter, but no-one on earth sells them ..Any suggestions for UK supplier would be appreciated.. If the solution costs too much then I'll just buy something else.
This is my last best hope...

That's beacuse they don't exist. It's like asking for an adapter to put into your mains socket to give you water. What you're asking would require a modulator (converting the video signal to RF). Much easier to get a VHS with a video input.

Sorry Mats, but they do exist., sort of.

For Xmas I bought my 12yr old a Ps2. It uses composite out. The old portable TV in his bedroom only has RF in (Aerial) socket. For £5 from Comet I bought a (non-sony) Composite to RF adaptor. You can also buy Scart to Composite convertors from places like Maplins. (Assuming the Scart actually has composite out on one of the pins, they normally do)

That's a different story altogether, since it only requires two different plugs with the cables soldered between the right pins. Video to RF isn't that simple, even if I didn't know that RF modulators came that cheap.
