DVD Shrink wont open files on HD from SmartRipper?

Ive tried to find an answer to this question as I am sure its happened to others, but found nothing...so I apologize if this is redundant.

I rip DVD files to my HD and get the following:

VIDEO_TS, as a BUP file
VIDEO_TS, as a DVD Navigation file
VIDEO_01_0, as a BUP file
VIDEO_01_0, as a DVD Nav file
VTS_01_1, as a vob file
VTS_01_2, as a vob file
VTS_01_3, as a vob file

I would like to shrink the files down with DVD Shrink (v.2 or 3) and then author with Nero 6. This all works fine when I have the disc in the drive, but some are rips from long ago onto the HD. DVD Shrink wont open these files (as shown above) regardless of what file I point it at.

Any ideas what SmartRipper left off and whether I can salvage these files?

Where they ripped in movie mode or file mode? DVD Shrink will not open rips done in movie mode. Will they play in PowerDVD? Again movie mode will not play in PowerDVD.

I also has this problem where DvdShrink wouldn't open IFO/VOBs ripped in movie mode. BTW PowerDVD can play these VOB files no problem. Anyone know work around for this without re-rip the entire DVD again.

My problem
- I need to shrink a little bit becuz the original vob files is about 5.3 GB.
- Ripped in movie mode therefore cannot open ifo file in DvdShrink.
