  1. Sorry about the lame title...

Anyhow, I backed up one of my DVDs using DVDShrink 2.3 in Full Disc mode. The DVD is a little bit over 4.7GB so I only had to remove unwanted audios/subtitles, and compress extras to get the backup to fit one disc. Then I burned with Nero 5.5.10 and it plays fine on my DVD player and PowerDVD.

Here's my problem: When I was backing up the DVD, I removed audio 1 and 2 (foreign languages) and kept audio 3 (English). So when I play the back up DVD (either on PowerDVD or DVD player), the movie plays with the default audio (audio 1), which I removed. To play English audio, I have to go to setup and manually pick English (audio 3).

Is there a way to get the English audio (audio 3) to play by default?

    Search Comp PM
DVD95Copy,Elby CloveDVD upto version 1.2.8.4,and Nero Recode will correct the ifo so that the english stream plays by default.
Re-compressing with either of those programs will correct the ifo file so that only the audio stream you kept appears in the ifo files.
Since your starting with a 4.37GB directory they won't really transcode but in creating the new directory they will corret the ifo file so that only your english track is present an will therfore play by default.
