  1. I have a friend who needs me to create a short DVD presentation for them to playback in their laptop.

I'll be copying to +RW on my Philips DVDR75. (I may just go with a +R, but not sure yet)

Question is, will any laptop with a DVD drive play +RW or +R for that matter?

I can play both format on my PC, but not sure about laptops playback abilities.

I need to complete the project by Saturday evening.

    All help is appreciated.

  3. Since you have the Philips DVDR75, you can change the bitsetting flag to DVD-ROM for maximum compatibility.

    That link is dead now.

I've looked on that site for the document you mentioned but with no success. Have you got anymore information or could you point me to the new location?

    TIA

It is in documentation. They are just not saying that it changes bitsetting, but only "more playable".
