Sorry for the newbie question.
With DVD Shrik, does deep analysis make a difference when doing a 1to1 copy? Does it do anything to the vobs if it is set to 100% quality?

if it is a 1to1 (dvd-5, which is single layer) than there is no reason to use dvdshrink or the deep analysis. You would be better off using dvddecrypter, rip iso image and then burn iso image.
If it is a dual layer, however after reauthoring or simply removing audio(doing a 1:1 back up) and the quality indicatator is 100% (or even in the 90's), there is not reason to do a deep analysis since it wont be compressing the video at all, just restructing the ifo file.
