Can't back-up my DVD

Hello all,
I am a newbie to all this DVD stuff, but I have allready managed to back-up some of my DVDs without any problems (using DVD2One and copy2DVD). Well since I didn't really know either where to post this I think I did the right thing to post it here...

Ok, here is the problem: I recently bought "About a boy" and wanted to back-up the movie (only the movie, not the extra's). The problem started when i put the DVD in my DVD player (in my PC). It just didn't play, all it did was spinning around...Then I placed it in my second DVD-player+writer (Nec ND 1300A) and this time the DVD played (automatically starting up PowerDVD). But when I tried to back up the movie, or tried to acces the .vob files on the disc, nothing happened or I would get an "encrypted" error file?!

Seconds later I realized this problem must have been occured because of the Copy Protection...So I tried to use DVD Decrypter, but the program got stuck when directing to the DVD.

My question now is, and maybe it is a stupid question, is there a way to make a back-up of this movie?
All help is welcome, because I really don't know what to do anymore...

ok, nevermind my problem, hehe.
I was able to solve it.
I used DVD X Copy Platinum and didn't have a problem at all backing-up my DVD.
Amazing the way all this software works differently

I would use DVD Shrink and burn with Nero.
