Newbie warning.

I did the hack listed in the that section for this model and tried a VCD I made on a CD-R using Roxio 6. I got audio but no video. Does the unit need to be connected to the TV using the A/V cables for VCD to work? My TV is a little old and only has a coax connection which works fine for the DVD/VCR. Thanks in advance.
