slysoft clonedvd and dvdx studios clonedvd

I am a little confused about these two programs. At first it was slysoft clonedvd, Now I see that dvdx studios has a program with the same name clonedvd. Does any one know if slysoft clonedvd was sold to dvdx studios or are these two distinct programs?

Slysoft hasn't sold out to DVDX studios. They are two different companies. Unless DVDX has stolen the Slysoft program and put a new GUI on it, they are two different programs that do the same thing.

I had slysoft clonedvd running. When I installed dvdx studios clonedvd It appairs that dvdx clonedvd put the program info in the clonedvd program folder. Also I had a slysoft clonedvd shortcut in a folder and when I tried to copy the dvdx studios clonedvd icon in that folder I got that it alwready exists,do you want to replace it. It seems that the two companies are using the same program names and the system cant differenciate which is which.

There are a few different programs that use the name CloneDVD.

The CloneDVD created by Elby is the best one to use, Slysoft does sell for Elby..
