  1. Hi I am about to purchase the Kiss DP-450 DVD Player. As it can play Divx I'm hoping to burn some AVI straight to DVD-r or CD with out converting them to MPEG first. But my problem is that I wish these movies to have interactive menus (using DVD Workshop) but this program doesn't let me do this without encoding them. I disabled this option but now I get a error! Also it changes the Avi file from a widescreen to a fullscreen picture. Any help to overcome these problems would be deeply appreciated.

  3. Thank you for your reply Baldrick
Workshop will reencode to dvd mpeg.
As I wish to play it off of the KISS DP-450 I do not want the movie to be converted into MPEG, I wish for it to stay as a AVI.
    Thanks again for any help

I would happily be proved wromg, but AFAIK, it can't be done.

If you remember reading somewhere that it is possible, I suggest you search for the same info/article.
