  2. All I can say about Nero Recode 2 is that it is awesome.. I was able to back up 6 or 7 DVDs in a short amount of time with hardly any noticable quality loss. It works even better if you have Advanced Analysis turned on. I was able to disable features without a problem. The only thing that disturbs me about the disabling features part is that you have to include a meaningful picture. If I disable a feature, I want the DVD not to respond to the feature that I have disabled, instead of showing a picture. Other then that, Nero Recode 2 is awesome and its quick. I really recommend it for anyone having troubles with any of the other programs.

I really like it a lot as it was produced apparently by the same person who wrote DVD Shrink minus the abylity to break CSS encryption. I assume youo are all using Anydvd in tamden with Recode to allow you to directly rip? That's what I do. I love the fact that since I have both a DVD reader and burner, I can set it and walk away and when I return the backup disk is burned. Lovely job Shrink Man!!!
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

  4. I really don't like using anydvd with recode... Using AnyDVD you have to read the dvd 3 x. I just use DVD Decrypter read the DVD 1x and have the files on my HD in case of an error.

    Recode with AnyDVD
    1. Read DVD during initial analysis
    2. Read DVD during Deep analysis.
    3. Read DVD while encoding
    4. If your dvd has an error...well its time to start all over again

    Recode with Dvd Decrypter.
    1. Rip the DVD and put it away only read once.
    2. Has better error detection than ANYDVD
