  1. Could someone help me with this, my nero is licensed but for some reason, I keep getting this error when I use nero recode for any movie try to recode:



    Any help appreciated, thanks

    That's pretty much a generic error. It doesn't like the file for some reason.

    I had the same problem on XP with the latest Nero Recode (at the time of writing this). Same error no matter what file I threw at it.

    My solution was to install latest ffdshow tryout codecs. Run audio configuration and under DTS set as libavcodec (second step may not be necessary, install of ffdshow may be sufficient).

    Recode accepted my input file immediately after doing that.

  4. Problem solved, I had to uninstall my codec pack and ffdshow for nero recode to work, but now my codecs are gone.

    Can you re-install ffdshow now and still have Nero working? ffdshow has most all codecs needed and doesn't cause damage like codec packs. And it may have to do with the order in which Nero and ffdshow are installed. Try reversing the order. It may be that your codec pack wrote over your Nero codecs. Not unusual, and a good reason to stay away from codec packs.
