  1. I decoded a DVD to SVCD with DVD2SVCD… the result was that the audio became out of sync… I have done this a few times before, but never with this problem. Is it an error on the DVD or is it the decoding? And…. how do I fix that?????

Sometimes the first couple of chapters in the first vob are empty thus causing the audio to get screwed up,Use smartripper and load up the vobs and check the first chapters to see if that the case,if it is then uncheck them and rip with smartripper.

  5. It seems that the problem appears when decoding the DVD! Not while ripping! I get the same problem on a dvd packed as RAR files! I think it is the decoding to VCD that is the problem! But I might be wrong? Is there a way I can “test” play a vcd on my computer when the file is packet as cue/bin files?

If you read what i said right is a thing with the vobs that have empty chapters at the beginning, ripping doesnt cause the problem, encoding causes it,check with smartripper to see if the first vob has empty chapters!!dvd packed as RAR files?explain that a bit more.

  8. vobs can be played in many software players ... bin/cue files can be mounted under DAEMON tools this is a good check. ALso if you feel you may have problems burn only a 5min section to a cdrw and test that.
Also is the cable to your speakers very long and thick??

After a few days with testing and failing i found out that bitrate was wrong! And I used DAEMON tools to test the files! The offset settings under bbmpeg was wrong. When i made the changes it all cleared up….. For this time…

    Thanx for the help people!
