  1. If you encode the same interlaced content with Xvid one version interlaced the other deinterlaced does one version use up more room? I have been deinterlacing because I only watch the content on my computer. Bigger monitor then TV. But someone I think Lordsmurf mentioned some players can deinterlace while playing so I might have to rethink deinterlacing if it adds to the filesize or more exactly the amount of info that needs to be encoded. Also a 2nd part of this question what players will deinterlace while playing? I assume Powerdvd would but I dont really like using it for anything other then DVDs. Is there a way to do it with BSplayer. Which I have just started to use and I have grown quite fond of it. anyway thanks.

    I'm have no interlaced XviD content, but Media Player Classic deinterlaces most video so I'm sure it would do the same with XviD.
